ALICE

2022
video-installation

How often do you talk with your pillow? Do you know what it has to say to you?

In this installation, Alice, a 1,5m long square pillow, speaks with the listener about language, sound and identity. The viewer is invited to
lie down and watch a video made out of old home-made recordings, through a tiny hole on the centre of the blue satin pillow.
Alice speaks of sound as a possible universal matter that documents life and history, as well as collective and individual memory.
